• Fees

    Our rate is based on guidelines set by the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA).  Most extended health insurance plans will cover part or all of your cost to see a psychologist. The amount of coverage varies so check your insurance plan for your level of coverage.

    Sessions are 50 minutes in length and payment is due after each session. Payment may be made by Debit Card, Visa, Master Card, cheque or cash. Payment receipts can be submitted for reimbursement from extended health benefits insurers or can be used as medical expenses for income tax purposes.

    For Skype sessions we ask that prior to your initial session you contact our office to provide your credit card information for session payment purposes only.

  • Insurance

    Most extended health insurance plans will cover part or all of your costs to see a psychologist The amount of varies so check your insurance plan for your level of coverage. Most insurance plans do not require a physician referral.  However, you should check your plan information to see if a referral letter is required. Also please note, the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) does not cover services rendered by a licensed clinical or health psychologist.

    You can claim the fees you pay to a registered psychologist as a medical expense deduction on your income tax return.

  • Cancellation Policy

    We work diligently to meet the needs of our clients in scheduling sessions that are most convenient for them. In return, we ask our clients to provide at least 48 hours notice if they have to cancel or reschedule their appointment times.

    We charge for missed appointments or appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.
